Tussah Silk
Soft, luxurious, this fibre can be used by the felter when
combined with wool (the wool fibres will 'grab' it), the carder by blending it
with just about anything, the spinner by adding touches here and there to your
yarn as it's spun, or spin a single of just silk and ply it with something else.
Tussah silk is the cocoons gathered after the silk worms are done with them, so
it is eco-friendly. As always, dyed with professional grade dyes.
Butterscotch - touchable, lustrous silk roving is a beautiful shade of warm gold - couldn't make up my mind about the name, so I used both. Olivetti - touchable, lustrous silk roving is dyed soft, beautiful olive green and gentle browns; a very understated colour.
